Math Path is a number-path puzzle: a 4×4 grid is filled with random digits, and you must connect adjacent cells (up, down, left, right) until the values along your path add up to the target shown at the top of the board. There is always a valid solution because the puzzle generator works in reverse — it walks a random path first, sums the cells, and then displays that sum as the target.
You have 30 seconds per puzzle and five puzzles per run. Each solve is worth 200 points; each hint costs 50. Submitting a path that does not match the target does not penalise you directly, so feel free to experiment by tapping cells and see the running sum at the top right of the board update live.
Strategy tips
Look for "anchor" cells: high-value digits like 8 or 9. If the target is, say, 21 and you spot a 9 next to a 7, that is already 16 — you only need a 5 nearby to finish. Conversely, if the target is small (like 8), avoid stepping on big numbers.
You can backtrack at any time by tapping a cell already in your path: it will trim the path back to (and including) that cell. Paths cannot revisit a cell. The shortest path is usually best because it leaves the most flexibility, but longer paths sometimes are the only way to hit specific sums.
