Pick a color to flood-fill your territory from the top-left. Claim the whole board within the turn limit.

About Hue Flood

Hue Flood is a color flood-fill puzzle. Your territory starts in the top-left corner. Pick a color from the six buttons below the board and every cell of that color touching your territory will be absorbed into it. Each pick costs one turn, and you only get a limited number of turns to claim the entire board — 30 on Easy, 25 on Normal, 28 on Hard.

It looks simple, but the optimal strategy is surprisingly deep. The best players think two or three picks ahead, choosing colors that will create more boundary opportunities rather than just grabbing the largest cluster right now. A perfect 14x14 board with six colors can usually be solved in 22 to 23 turns — can you do better?
